Choosing your SDA
Once you’ve established a housing goal in your NDIS plan and confirmed your eligibility (which we can help with), and applied for funding, the next step is to carefully consider your SDA home and Provider of choice.
This is where it’s good to know what options are available to you. Your SDA Provider could potentially limit your options and ability to choose – so it’s important to be aware of what to look out for when selecting a provider. You need to decide the following:
- Where do you want to live?
- What amenity do you want to be able to access locally?
- How do you want to live?
- What sort of dwelling would you like?
- Who do you want to live with, or do you want to live alone?
- How much care will you need to live?
- Who will provide your care?
